Work Under Sun not Allowed from Tomorrow 15th June

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia announced the start of implementing of the decision to prevent work under the sun from 15th June (Tuesday) until 15th September 2021 (Wednesday). The Ministry called on employers to organize working hours as specified in the decision, in order to preserve the health and safety of the workers and to avoid violations.

All companies in the Kingdom should not allow their workers to work under the direct sun from 12 PM to 3 PM, starting from 15th June, 2021 until 15th September 2021.

The Ministry explained that this decision comes within the framework of its eagerness to protect the safety and health of the Kingdom workers in the private sector by providing them a secure working environment, away for exposure to any health risks, in accordance with the occupational safety and health considerations.
