The General Passport office announced today that the collection of fees for issuing the Residence Permit (IQAMA) for the worker in commercial and industrial profession in private sector postponed for the period of three months from 18th March 2020 till 16th June 2020.

The Passport office explain that this decision has been taken in the frame work of efforts taken by Kingdom Government to mitigate the economic, financial and development impact on private sector due to the precautionary measure taken to face the repercussion of the outbreak of new corona-virus pandemic. Now the owners of the establishments may issue the residence permit card without paying the Identity fees. and they can pay this amount after 3 month as per the period of residence permit card.
